Stop Crippling your CPU Cooling! The Sliger S620 himangshunits, February 27, 2024February 27, 2024 The single biggest gripe I have with the SFF community is how everyone always seem to cripple the CPU cooling in the interest of bigger GPUs. Everyone starting from the case manufacturers to the reviewers seem to be guilty of this. I understand the need for a GPU heavy build, but still I feel there should at least be some options. After all, a small form factor is not just a gamer thing. Believe it or not, it is just so difficult to even find a case that optimizes for both a highest end CPU cooling along with latest gen GPU support. After doing an extensive research, I found that this Sliger 620 is pretty much the only premium case you can find that fits both. In my build, I am upgrading from my FormeD T1 with an overclocked 13900K along with the new RTX 4080 Super FE, but you can also fit the 4090 FE if you need to. For the Air Cooler, I originally tried to fit the new MA 824 from Cooler Master but unfortunately there is a tiny mismatch in clearance which led me to resort back to the Noctua NH D15, which was what this case was designed for to start with. So if you are planning this build, please do keep that in mind. This case originally came in Black or White, but currently they are only offering black on their website. However, I was able to request them to include any available white panels, and they were really nice to send in a few that they had lying around. With the mix-and-match black and white panels, I feel this is one the most unique looking Mini ITX cases out there which does not cut any corners and is only as big as it needs to be! So if you are in that unique intersection of people who wants the best of both worlds, then this setup is pretty much all you can ask for, well maybe with a 4090!
